Day 01 - Arrival into Lima

Day 2 : Lima / Ica
Meet & Greet and transfer from your hotel in Lima to Ica along the Peruvian coast to Ica (a four hour ride). Transfer to the airport for a flight over the Nazca Lines. Are they merely huge figures or could they be extraterrestrial landing fields? Transfer to your hotel . The remainder of the afternoon is at leisure.

Day 03 – ICA / LIMA / CUSCO
Breakfast at your hotel. Morning ride back to Lima Airport. Board your flight to Cusco. On arrival into Cusco, meet & greet Cusco Airport by local host and transfer to Cusco hotel. Afternoon walking tour of Cusco. Afternoon guided walking / city tour of Cusco During the walking tour of the ancient capital of the Inca Empire, visitors are easily caught up in the excitement of this city. The tour includes a visit to the Cathedral and Santo Domingo Church, passing through the city's main streets and the Plaza de Armas. You will walk through some of Cusco's most astonishing streets to reach the San Blas Church. (2h 1/2.)

Day 05 – Cusco / Sacred Valley (B, L)
Full day Tour of Sacred Valley. Morning departure for a drive through the fertile countryside to the colonial village of Pisac. During your visit to the bustling marketplace you will have the opportunity to bargain with the natives for many different types of Peruvian handicrafts and jewelry. After lunch the tour continues to the village of Ollantaytambo for a visit to its impressive Inca fortress. (L) (9h.)

Day 06 Sacred Valley / Machu Picchu (B)
Morning Vistadome train ride through the sacred valley of Urubamba to the "Lost City of the Incas. Guided tour of Machu Picchu perched 8,200 feet above the valley, it was hidden by mountains and semi-tropical jungles for 400 years until discovered by Hiram Bingham of Yale University in 1911. Archaeologists believe that the Inca "Virgins of the Sun" took refuge from the Spanish Conquistadors here. Guided tour of the ruins upon arrival. Lunch is on your own. Afternoon free to explore Aguas Callientes.

Day 07 – Sacred Valley / Cusco
Enjoy one of the most incredible sights on earth, the sanctuary of Machu Picchu. Take as much time as you need to study these magnificent ruins. Your names have been put on the list to hike the steep stone trail of Huayna Picchu, the pyramid-shape mountain above Machu Picchu for a breathtaking view of the site. Stroll to the Inca Bridge a secret entrance used by the Inca's army or walk toward the Inca Trail to find the historic Inti punku or Sun Gate. Afternoon at leisure to study these magnificent ruins. Bus and second entrance fee to Machu Picchu included. Huayna Picchu hike is available at additional cost. Afternoon return train ride back to Ollataytambo train station. Upon arrival a host will meet and assist you and transfer you to your hotel in Cusco. Breakfast included. Overnight in Cusco RUINAS CUSCO HOTEL standard double room.
Day 08- Cusco / Puno
Transfer to Cusco transportation bus station and board First Class tourist bus to Puno,Enroute the Bus stop at many of the ruins along with way with Lunch served.Approximately 9-hours.

Day 09 – Puno / Lake Titicaca
Visit to Uros Island (includes cultural activity - lasts approximately 30 minutes) Visit to the Uros Indian and Taquile Island at Lake Titikaka - This full day excursion will take you to the highest navigable lake in the world to visit the floating islands of the Uros Indians, considered themselves Lords of the Lake, and they were convinced they had black blood because they did not feel the cold of the lake and the winter. Continuing to Taquile where a native community of about 400 families still lives with the traditions of the XIV century that respect the principals of an Incan way life. Taquile is a very important site on Lake Titikaka for its a archeological remains, the sacred and ceremonial sites, the festive activities, their rituals and for the daily life of the inhabitants which is dedicated to farming, textile production and fishing. Day 10 Puno / Lima
Morning free in Puno. Afternoon transfer to Juliaca Airport for flight to Lima. Upon arrival into Lima, check in for your international flight back to USA.
