When to Go to Peru:

Weather patterns determine when many travelers decide to travel into South America.  In Peru, there are (2) seasons, the wet (green) and dry season.  Typically the best time to visit Peru is June  -  September, when the days are mostly sunny and the night are cooler.  The wettest months are January – March.  The eastern slope of the Andes, like the Amazon basin, experience heavy wet rainfall during the wet season (Mid December – March), so one of the best times to visit this area would be April – October.   May through September is some of the choices months to visit much of the country.


Autumn: April – June - Temperature approx. 60 Fahrenheit
Winter:   July – September - Temperature approx. 55 Fahrenheit

Spring:   October – December Temperature approx. 62 Fahrenheit
Summer: January – March Temperature approx. 75 Fahrenheit
